Duration and Timings

I applied for 4 weeks internship from 24th May 2016 – 24th June 2016

The timing are 9:30 am to 7:30 am but due to large number of interns timing was later cut short , the interns were divided in two groups and accordingly time was alloted

First-day impression, Infrastructure and formalitie

The office of Paras Khuad and Associates is at 3rd floor Ganpati Plaza in Jaipur. It is a huge and impressive office but the place assigned to interns is quite congested. The office also has a library which has all the books one will ever need in law.

On first day you are suppose to introduce yourself to all the associates and then the will assign  work to you, Also if one needs work then he/she is suppose approach associates and ask them for work

On my first day I was assigned a research work on Constitutional law which I had to submit by evening

Best things

Library: Paras Khuad and Associates and advocates had a nice library in which one can sit and read if no work is assigned .

Associates: the attitude was associates towards intern was very friendly , one can approach them whenever they have any quires  Also tea was served twice a day with some snacks

Main Tasks

Main tasks were to complete your work as and when asked by the associates and the work given was basically research work

Work environment and people

The work environment was quite friendly. The Associates were very helpful. They would not just assign you work but also take the pain of explaining the whole case to you in detail and they would entertain all your doubts. They would joke around in the office and interact with you. They would tell you how their Court proceedings went. They would make sure that you do not feel like an outsider.

Bad things

As the number of interns was huge and the courts were about to close hence during the end of internship very less work was allotted

It was a very good experience. This internship helped me improve my researching skills, and I also learn how to use Manupatra and legal research properly.

I would recommend one who has interest in doing lot of legal research should apply during their Second and Third year
