Kamal R Khan Withdraws His Plea In SC Against HC's Order Restraining Him From Making Defamatory Remarks Against Vashu Bhagnani

Kamaal R. Khan has withdrawn the petition that was filed by him before the Supreme Court against the interim of the order that was passed by the Bombay High court, which was also restraining him from the making of defamatory statements/ videos on the social media against the Bollywood producer to the Vasu Bhagnani.

Senior Advocate Rakesh Khanna, who had appeared for Kamaal R. Khan has sought to withdraw an appeal with the option to appeal now before the Division Bench of Bombay High court.

The withdrawal of the petition was allowed by the bench of Justice K.M. Joseph and Ravindra Bhatt.

The plea was filed challenging the interim order that was passed by the Bombay High court, by a single judge bench of Justice AK Menon. The petition was filed against the suit by Bhagnani against a series of tweets and a video by Khan, that had made numerous allegations against the producer and his family.
