About the Internship :
APAG Law is inviting applications for one legal internship position at its office on Saki Vihar Road, Powai, Mumbai.
Eligibility :
• Students currently enrolled in their 2nd/3rd year (for three-year LLB courses) and 3rd/4th/5th year (for five-year LLB Courses).
• Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Demonstrated proficiency in drafting and legal analysis
• Strong interest in legal research and drafting.
• Applicants should be curious about taxation law and willing to learn.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting in-depth legal research on various topics
• Drafting legal articles, petitions and applications
• Analysing court judgments and legal developments
• Improving legal writing and editing skills
• Assisting in the preparation of legal opinions, notices, replies and other documents.
• The intern will have the opportunity to conduct legal research, assist with drafting, review documents and learn how legal issues are analysed in customs and indirect tax matters.
• The intern will also assist the Partner with preparing case notes, organising materials for ongoing matters and summarising legal developments relevant to the firm’s work. The tasks assigned will depend on the matters underway and the intern’s experience.
