About the Internship :
Applications are invited for Internship Opportunity at Chakraborty & Co., Kolkata for the year 2026. The firm is offering a legal internship designed for law students and recent graduates to gain practical experience in various legal domains.
Eligibility :
(i) Be law students in the third year or above or recent law graduates.
(ii) Have good communication skills and attention to detail.
(iii) Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
(iv)Strong research and writing skills.
Responsibilities:
(i) Appear before courts and assist in day-to-day court proceedings
(ii) Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, and written submissions
(iii) Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis
(iv) Brief and assist seniors in hearings and trials
(v) Manage case files, documentation, and court filings
(vi) Liaise with clients, court staff, and other advocates
Duration : 3 to 6 months
