About the Internship :
Chambers of Justice Augustine George Masih is seeking to invite candidates to apply for internship. Kindly go through the instructions before applying.
Eligibility :
(i) Be in the fourth or fifth year of a 5-year integrated LL.B. programme, or the final year of a 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Have completed at least one internship at a Trial Court and one internship at a High Court in India.
(iii) Preference will be given to candidates with prior judicial internship experience.
Responsibilities:
Selected interns may be expected to assist with:
• Legal research and analysis
• Research on statutes, case laws and judicial precedents
• Assisting in preparation of legal briefs and case materials
• Observing and assisting with court proceedings
• Case-law compilation and preparation of research notes
• Assisting with legal drafting and other chamber-related work
• Supporting advocates in ongoing matters, as assigned
🔹 Important Information
• Submission of an application does not guarantee selection.
• Shortlisted candidates may be assessed on their knowledge of law, communication skills, demeanour and overall suitability.
• Selected candidates will ideally be informed 3–4 weeks before joining and must confirm their availability at least 2 weeks prior to joining.
• In case of a vacancy or cancellation, shortlisted candidates may be contacted within one week of joining.
• Candidates must make their own arrangements for lodging, boarding and travel.
• This is an unpaid internship and does not carry any remuneration.
