About the Internship :
HMB Legal, Advocates & Solicitors is inviting applications from serious, dedicated, and research-oriented law students for a Legal Research Internship on the subject: “Understanding Government Tender Compliance: Legal, Regulatory and Practical Aspects“ This internship is designed for students who are keen to develop a deeper understanding of public procurement laws, tender documentation, compliance requirements, eligibility criteria, bid evaluation processes, contractual obligations, and dispute resolution mechanisms relating to government tenders.
Eligibility :
(i) Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Good command of English (written and verbal).
(iii) Familiarity with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
(iv) Prior internships in general corporate advisory / corporate law teams
(v) Experience with law firms or in-house legal teams preferred
(vi) Candidates demonstrating a genuine interest in corporate, commercial, regulatory, or government contracting matters.
Responsibilities:
(i) Assist in legal research and drafting of legal documents.
(ii) Support the legal team in preparing for court hearings and client meetings.
(iii) Maintain and organise legal files and documents.
(iv) Communicate effectively with clients and external parties.
(v) Assist in drafting pleadings, applications, and legal briefs.
Duration : Minimum 2 Months
