About the Internship :
Applications are invited for Internship Opportunity at Advocate Jaspreet Singh (Advocate JS Arora), Jalandhar for the year 2026. Inviting law students for a hands-on learning internship who are keen to gain practical exposure in Civil, Criminal and Revenue Court practice at Jalandhar, Punjab. This internship is ideal for students who genuinely wish to learn practical litigation drafting and court procedure, beyond theoretical study.
Eligibility :
(i) Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Good research and drafting skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
(iii) Genuine passion for intellectual property law and a desire to deepen knowledge in this area.
(iv) Good English Writing Skills and communication skills.
(v) Proactive, disciplined, and committed to delivering quality work
(vi) Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills
(vii) Basic understanding of legal contracts and the ability to comprehend and analyse their contents.
Responsibilities:
(i) Conduct legal research on statutes, case laws, rules, and judgments.
(ii) Help in due diligence work for property, company, banking, or corporate matters.
(iii) Draft basic legal documents such as notices, affidavits, agreements, petitions, written statements, and legal opinions.
(iv) Attend court hearings, client meetings, and conferences with seniors.
(v) Create, organize and maintain infringement case files, ensuring thorough documentation and accuracy.
(vi) Assist with drafting contracts, lease deeds, partnership deeds, and other agreements.
(vii) Prepare and submit daily activity and progress reports while maintaining proper documentation and records.
