About the Internship :
Office of Rahul Naskar is looking to engage one legal intern for a short-term assignment of up to one month (May). The role is best suited for candidates based in Kolkata who have a strong command over legal drafting and research work.
Eligibility :
(i) Students currently enrolled in a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. program from a recognized university.
(ii) Basic knowledge of drafting Miscellaneous Applications
(iii) Familiarity with drafting Writ Petitions, Civil Recovery Suits, etc.
(iv) Good communication and drafting abilities
(v) Strong analytical and legal research skills
(vi) Willingness to appear in court at least once a week
Responsibilities:
(i) Appear before courts and assist in day-to-day court proceedings
(ii) Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, and written submissions
(iii) Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis
(iv) Brief and assist seniors in hearings and trials
(v) Manage case files, documentation, and court filings
(vi) Liaise with clients, court staff, and other advocates
Duration : Minimum 1 months
