About the Internship :
Yeeshu Jain & Associates is inviting applications from enthusiastic and motivated Legal Interns who are keen to gain practical exposure in litigation before the Delhi High Court. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for law students to work closely on diverse legal matters, enhance their research and drafting skills, and gain hands-on experience in court procedures. Immediate joiners preferred.
Eligibility :
(i) Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Good command of English (written and verbal).
(iii) Familiarity with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
(iv) Strong research and analytical skills with a keen interest in litigation.
Responsibilities:
(i) Manage cases from filing to trial, ensuring timelines are met
(ii) Conduct legal research on case law and statutes
(iii) Advise clients on legal rights, risks, and case progress
(iv) Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and briefs
(v) Handle evidence gathering, witness interviews, and discovery
(vi) Represent clients in hearings, trials, mediation, and arbitration
(vii) Negotiate settlements where appropriate
