About the Job :
We Are Hiring: Corporate Legal Associate– Muthoot Homefin (India) Pvt. Ltd.
Eligibility :
(i) Candidate should have the ability to prepare a brief and have strong drafting skills.
(ii) 3–8 years of litigation experience, preferably in Banking/NBFC/Housing Finance.
(iii) Strong legal research and drafting skills
(iv) Sound understanding of procedural and substantive laws
(v) Possess strong experience in commercial litigation.
(vi) Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools
(vii) Demonstrate expertise in insolvency and bankruptcy matters.
Responsibility :
(i) Handle litigation matters with sound knowledge of N.I. Act (Section 138),SARFAESI Act, and Arbitration Act.
(ii) Draft, settle and review pleadings, applications, written submissions, legal notices and other litigation-related documents.
(iii) Undertake legal research and assist in formulating litigation strategy across diverse areas of practice.
(iv) Brief and assist chamber seniors and Senior Counsel in matters before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
(v) Appear before Courts, Tribunals, Arbitral Tribunals and other adjudicatory authorities, commensurate with experience.
(vi) Represent the company before courts, tribunals, and statutory authorities.
(vii) Initiate legal proceedings, arbitration, and obtain legal opinions as required.
(viii) Review legal cases with the Collections team and defend cases filed against the company.
