About the Job :
Phoenix ARC is looking to hire Legal Associates for its offices across multiple cities in India. The selected candidates will handle litigation, legal documentation, recovery proceedings, and compliance matters relating to banking and financial laws.
Eligibility :
(i) Candidate should have the ability to prepare a brief and have strong drafting skills.
(ii) Have 3+ years of legal experience, preferably with banks, NBFCs, or recovery law firms.
(iii) Strong legal research and drafting skills
(iv) Sound understanding of procedural and substantive laws
(v) Ability to assist in court matters; independent handling of matters will be an added advantage
(vi) Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools
(vii) Sincere, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
Responsibility :
(i) Handle a broad spectrum of commercial and civil litigation matters with substantial responsibility, ownership and minimal supervision.
(ii) Draft, settle and review pleadings, applications, written submissions, legal notices and other litigation-related documents.
(iii) Undertake legal research and assist in formulating litigation strategy across diverse areas of practice.
(iv) Brief and assist chamber seniors and Senior Counsel in matters before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
(v) Appear before Courts, Tribunals, Arbitral Tribunals and other adjudicatory authorities, commensurate with experience.
