About the Job :
Sagar Chandra & Associates is inviting individuals to apply for the position of Portfolio Management Int at their office. The Candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting client’s global intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, industrial designs, and domain names.
Eligibility :
(i) Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Good command of English (written and verbal).
(iii) Post-qualification experience of 4-8 years.
(iv) Experience in legal consulting and document preparation.
(v) Interest in litigation and dispute resolution
Responsibility :
(i) Manage global trademark, copyright, patent, industrial design, and domain name portfolios.
(ii) Coordinate IP clearance searches, filing strategies, prosecution, renewals, recordals, assignments, licences, and maintenance activities.
(iii) Draft and review IP-related agreements, including licences, assignments, coexistence, settlement, franchise, and brand collaboration agreements.
(iv) Support IP litigation by preparing evidence, chronologies, litigation trackers, and coordinating with external counsel.
(v) Manage global external counsel.
(vi) Monitor statutory deadlines through IP docketing systems and ensure timely filings and renewals.
