About the Job :
Economic Laws Practice is expanding their Data Privacy, AI Regulation & Tech Law Practice, and is looking to onboard an Associate.
Eligibility :
– A valid law degree and license to practice in India.
– 1-3 years of post-qualification experience at a reputed law firm or in-house team in dealing with matters relating to data privacy & tech regulation.
Responsibility :
– Prior experience in data privacy compliance (policies, notices, vendor assessments, breach processes).
– Exposure to AI/tech regulatory advisory, platform frameworks, or technology contracts is an advantage.
– A self-motivated, independent, and research-driven mindset with the ability to work in an evolving regulatory ecosystem.
– Should be willing to work on competition law matters in addition to data privacy and tech regulation. Prior experience in competition law would be helpful but is not mandatory.
