About the Internship :
Office of Leons Thomas Joseph is on the lookout for a motivated Intern/Trainee for a paid hybrid internship for a period of 3–6 months. If you are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and ready to gain hands-on experience beyond textbooks, we’d love to hear from you.
Eligibility :
(i) Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Good command of English (written and verbal).
(iii) Familiarity with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
(iv) Strong research and analytical skills with a keen interest in litigation.
Responsibilities:
(i) Manage cases from filing to trial, ensuring timelines are met
(ii) Conduct legal research on case law and statutes
(iii) Advise clients on legal rights, risks, and case progress
(iv) Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and briefs
(v) Handle evidence gathering, witness interviews, and discovery
(vi) Represent clients in hearings, trials, mediation, and arbitration
(vii) Negotiate settlements where appropriate
