About the Internship :
VNCO Legal is inviting applications for Legal Interns in Ahmedabad, offering hands-on exposure to corporate insolvency and liquidation matters under the IBC.
Eligibility :
(i) Students pursuing their 4th or 5th year of Law.
(ii) Genuine interest in insolvency and corporate litigation.
(iii) Availability for a running internship of at least 6 months.
(iv) Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
(v) Ability to conduct independent legal research.
(vi) Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
(i) Drafting and research relating to applications at the stage prior to commencement of insolvency.
(ii) Research on the rights, duties, and interplay between IBC stakeholders, including Resolution Professionals, Committee of Creditors, suspended directors, resolution applicants, and creditors.
(iii) Assisting with interlocutory applications concerning moratorium breaches, non-cooperation by erstwhile management, and avoidance transactions under Sections 66 and 213.
(iv) Reviewing resolution plans and CoC processes and identifying compliance issues.
(v) Preparing hearing notes, contention-wise briefs, and case summaries for arguing counsel.
