Person Becomes Blind Due To Covid-19 Vaccine: Allahabad HC Directs District Magistrate To Consider The Plea Seeking Compensation

The Hon’ble Allahabad High Court has ordered Hon’ble District Magistrate, Buduan to decide a plea represented by a Woman seeking compensation for her husband losing vision after administering Covid-19 Vaccine.

The Hon’ble Single Judge Bench of Hon’ble Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi was hearing the Writ petition which was filed by the victim’s wife seeking compensation.

The Hon’ble Bench directed the petitioner to make fresh representation with the essential medical reports before the Hon’ble District Magistrate, Buduan within one week and ordered the authority to decide the matter expeditiously.

The writ petition was disposed of by the Hon’ble Judge without any questions as to the merits of the issue. While there exists much confusion among people about inoculation, at least the Hon’ble courts have reiterated that vaccination must be administered voluntarily, forceful vaccination does not find any force in law and is regarded as ultravires abinitio.
