TMC Leaders Write To Prime Minister Narendra Modi Seeking Removal Of Tushar Mehta From Post Of Solicitor General

All India Trinamool Congress party members were seeking removal of Tushar Mehta from his post of solicitor general of India alleging his meeting with BJP politician, Suvendu Adhikari who is accused in connection with Narada Case and Saradha Chit Fund Scam case that was being investigated by CBI and ED.  The letter was written to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was written by leaders Derek O’Brien, Sukhendu Shekhar Roy, and Mahua Moitra.

The leaders have not just put the allegations on their own rather had relied on various news reports and tweets circulated on social media.

Thus, there was reason to believe that such a meeting has been organized to influence the outcome of matters where Suvendu Adhikari is an accused who is using the high offices of the Learned Solicitor general.

Further, the leaders have even mentioned that such an act of a Learned Solicitor general is raising the question of integrity. And thus, to avoid such kind of doubt it would be great if Sri. Tushar Mehta is removed from his post of solicitor general.
