About the Internship :
Vohra & Vohra is looking for dynamic and motivated candidates to join their firm as an assessment intern/ trainee associate. We are particularly looking for candidates who are eager to kickstart their career in Intellectual Property law, gain high-quality practical exposure, and grow with the organization.
Eligibility :
(i) Fresh law Graduate
(ii) Candidates genuinely interested in pursuing a long-term career in Intellectual Property law.
(iii) Strong computer, legal research and drafting skills
(iv) Willingness to follow office policies and code of conduct
(v) 4 Months of prior internship experience in IP Law.
Responsibilities:
(i) Filing and prosecution of trademark and copyright applications
(ii) Handling opposition, rectification and related proceedings before the Trade Mark Registry
(iii) Drafting notices, pleadings, written submissions and other litigation-related documentation
(iv) Legal research, portfolio management and compliance with statutory deadlines.
(v) Drafting plaints, written statements, writ petitions, affidavits, appeals and related court pleadings.
(vi) Assisting in commercial agreements, advisory work and dispute resolution matters.
(vii) Appearances before the Trade Marks Registry, Copyright Registry, District Courts and the High Court.
Duration : Minimum 1 Month
