BJP leader Khushbu Sundar arrested as the parties BJP & VCK (Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi) clashed over Thirumavalava’s comments on women quoting Manusmriti in Tamil Nadu. The actor-politician said that she will fight for women till her last breath. She also hit out at VCK and called them “cowards”.
She said that prime minister Narendra Modi & BJP has always looked into protection of women and ensure every step to ensure respect of every daughter of nation. She also sent a message to VCK and said that it was their failure and “respecting women is alien to you.”
She took to Twitter to announce that “ arrested.. been taken to police van. We will fight our last breath for the dignity of women. Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi Ji has always spoken about the safety of women and we walk on his path. We will never bow down to the atrocities of few elements out there.”
