The Bombay High Court was hearing the plea moved by Dr. Varavara Rao’s wife Pendyala Hemlatha for his immediate release from jail pertaining to his health conditions. In the mater the court has clarified that family members of Dr. VaravaraRao will be allowed to visit Rao at hospital but that is subject to protocols and he cannot be discharged without informing the court. Court further said that his treatment will be at the expense of the state.
Due to disturbance caused in virtual hearing yesterday the court further decided to hold physical hearing today on November 18th, 2020 to hear plea relating to his release.
At the first hearing of the case the court asked medical examination of Dr. VaravaraRao to be conducted to know his health status.
