About the Internship :
Ashok Soni Office is inviting applications for a 2-month Legal Internship in the field of Intellectual Property Law and Trademark Litigation. The internship is ideal for candidates interested in gaining practical exposure to contentious IP matters and trademark litigation.
Eligibility :
(i) Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Good research and drafting skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
(iii) Strong command over Intellectual Property Law
(iv) Strong written and verbal communication skills
(v) Basic knowledge of trademark prosecution and proceedings
(vi) Interest in trademark infringement suits and IP litigation
(vii) Eagerness to gain practical experience in contentious IP matters
Responsibilities:
(i) Appear before courts and assist in day-to-day court proceedings
(ii) Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, and written submissions
(iii) Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis
(iv) Brief and assist seniors in hearings and trials
(v) Manage case files, documentation, and court filings
(vi) Liaise with clients, court staff, and other advocates
