About the Internship :
Jawa Capital Services is hiring a Legal Intern to join its team in Jasola Vihar, New Delhi. The internship offers practical exposure to legal research, contract review, litigation support, and insolvency-related work, including drafting Resolution Plans under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
Eligibility :
(i) Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Good research and drafting skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
(iii) Proficiency in MS Office and legal databases preferred
(iv) Good English Writing Skills and communication skills.
(v) Excellent research skills having sound knowledge of major legal search engines such as Manupatra, SCC, etc.
(vi) Prior internship experience in Corporate Law is mandatory.
(vii) Demonstrated interest in corporate transactions, compliance, contract drafting, and advisory work.
Responsibilities:
(i) Conduct in-depth legal research on statutes, case laws, and regulations
(ii) Assisting in writ drafting and legal applications
(iii) Assist with drafting and court-related works
(iv) Legal Research & Case Analysis
(v) Provide administrative support for ongoing matters and maintain case files.
(vi) Support the drafting of Resolution Plans under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
Duration : Minimum 2–3 months
