About the Internship :
This internship is a one-month, offline training programme at LCMA Law Firm’s Zirakpur office, designed to provide practical exposure to legal practice and law firm functioning. Interns will be involved in legal research, legal drafting, litigation (criminal, civil, matrimonial), mediation, legal writing and case analysis, assisting with ongoing legal matters and office work. The programme focuses on practice-oriented skill development including research, drafting, observation, and active participation.
Eligibility :
• Students currently enrolled in their 2nd/3rd year (for three-year LLB courses) and 3rd/4th/5th year (for five-year LLB Courses).
• Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Demonstrated proficiency in drafting and legal analysis
• Good research, drafting, and communication skills will be an advantage.
• Candidates with a genuine interest in learning and gaining practical exposure to various fields of law
Responsibilities:
• Handled cases on a case-to-case basis and reviewed case facts and documents.
• Analyzed legal drafts, judgments, and relevant precedents.
• Conducted legal research and prepared case summaries and recommendations.
• Coordinated with clients, advocates, and court staff regarding case proceedings.
• Assisted in drafting pleadings, applications, and other legal documents.
