It's no Vacation or Free Period, Court tells Staff avoiding Work

The Delhi High Court while taking strict note against the court staffers avoiding work on one pretext or other said that this period isn’t a “vacation or leave, free period”.

The staff of the Karkardooma District Courts complex is directed to not leave their work station without prior permission from the competent authority, said District Judge Yashwant Kumar.

The judge ordered the staff to report for duty as & when called by the respective Judicial Officers or the administrative branch & submit their leave application on account of absence from duty in a circular issued on Nov 07.

Officials are further directed to ensure strict compliance of the directions, failing to which disciplinary action should be taken against the erring staff.
