Manappuram Finance Limited is a premier Indian non-banking financial company (NBFC) headquartered in Valapad, Kerala, and a leading provider of online and offline gold loans. Manappuram Finance Limited is inviting applications for the role of Area Legal Officer.
Eligibility :
(i) Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Minimum 2 years NBFC or Banking experience required (LAP/Housing Loan)
(iii) Strong drafting and communication skills
(iv) Experience in contract drafting and negotiation, litigation support, and corporate/commercial law
(v) Working knowledge of employment and labour laws
(vi) Strong drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Responsibility :
(i) Provide end-to-end legal support on corporate and commercial matters
(ii) Drafting, vetting, and negotiating MSAs, NDAs, vendor, customer, and employment contracts
(iii) Advise on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues
(iv) Handling litigation and arbitration matters
(v) Advising HR, Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams on legal matters
(vi) Managing dashboards relating to contracts, litigation, and compliance
