About the Job :
Law Chambers of Kapur and Chhabra is inviting applications for the position of Junior Associate in its litigation practice. The opportunity is suitable for advocates with 0–1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE) who are interested in building their careers in litigation and gaining exposure to a diverse range of legal matters.
Eligibility :
• LL.B. degree — 5-year or 3-year programme — or LL.M.
• Advocates with 0–1 year of post-qualification experience
• Candidates interested in litigation and court practice
• Applicants seeking exposure to commercial disputes, arbitration, civil litigation, and insolvency matters
Responsibility :
(i) Appear before courts and assist in day-to-day court proceedings
(ii) Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, and written submissions
(iii) Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis
(iv) Brief and assist seniors in hearings and trials
(v) Manage case files, documentation, and court filings
(vi) Liaise with clients, court staff, and other advocates
