About the Job :
S.K. Lath & Co. is hiring a Legal Associate for its Real Estate practice. The role requires a technically strong legal professional with in-depth knowledge of real estate title searches and due diligence, with the ability to analyse title records and assess historical ownership and related legal matters.
Eligibility :
• LL.B. degree — 5-year or 3-year programme — or LL.M.
• Technically strong legal professional with expertise in Real Estate Law
• In-depth knowledge of title search and due diligence
• Strong ability to analyse property titles and historical records
• Familiarity with Bengali property deeds and relevant land records
• Knowledge of inheritance and succession laws
Responsibility :
• Title tracing and preparation of Title Search Reports
• Understanding R.S., K.B. & L.R. records / Parchas
• Reading and understanding Bengali deeds
• Knowledge of Hindu and Muslim inheritance & succession laws
• Devolution, partition and mutation matters
• Analysis of historical title documents
• Real estate title due diligence
