About the Job :
Saraogi and Company, Kolkata, is inviting applications for the position of advocates at its office in Kolkata.
Eligibility :
(i) LL.B./LL.M. from a recognized Indian university
(ii) LLB Graduate with a minimum of 1-5 years of experience in drafting and conveyance.
(iii) Proficiency in legal documentation and research
(iv) Strong legal research and drafting skills
(v) Preference will be given to those who have worked and/or are based in Kolkata.
Responsibility :
(i) Appear before courts and assist in day-to-day court proceedings
(ii) Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, and written submissions
(iii) Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis
(iv) Brief and assist seniors in hearings and trials
(v) Manage case files, documentation, and court filings
(vi) Liaise with clients, court staff, and other advocates
