About the Job :
The Chambers of Sujit Chaudhary is looking to hire a Legal Associate for a long-term, full-time position focused on Criminal Litigation. This is an on-site opportunity for a candidate seeking sustained courtroom exposure and mentorship in a dedicated litigation practice.
Eligibility :
(i) Experience: 0–2 years PQE in litigation
(ii) Candidate should have the ability to prepare a brief and have strong drafting skills.
(iii) Strong drafting skills and experience with commercial agreements
(iv) Excellent written and spoken English
(v) Willingness to travel for court appearances and client meetings
Responsibility :
(i) Appear before courts and assist in day-to-day court proceedings
(ii) Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, and written submissions
(iii) Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis
(iv) Brief and assist seniors in hearings and trials
(v) Manage case files, documentation, and court filings
(vi) Liaise with clients, court staff, and other advocates
