About the Job :
Lex Chambers is hiring a Legal Counsel – Corporate Commercial, Transactional & General Corporate for its New Delhi office.
Eligibility :
(i) 4–6 years of experience in corporate commercial and general corporate matters Prior law firm experience is mandatory Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
(ii) Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach Ability to independently manage client expectations Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
(iii) Strong drafting skills and experience with commercial agreements
(iv) Excellent written and spoken English
(v) Willingness to travel for court appearances and client meetings
(vi) Candidates based in Mumbai are encouraged to apply.
Responsibility :
(i) Appear before courts and assist in day-to-day court proceedings
(ii) Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, and written submissions
(iii) Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis
(iv) Brief and assist seniors in hearings and trials
(v) Manage case files, documentation, and court filings
(vi) Liaise with clients, court staff, and other advocates
