About the Job :
The Chambers is inviting applications for the position of Litigation Associate to be stationed in Kolkata, handling commercial matters and representing clients before various courts and tribunals.
Eligibility :
(i) LL.B./LL.M. from a recognized Indian university
(ii) 1–2 years of active litigation experience
(iii) Proficiency in legal documentation and research
(iv) Ability to independently manage and appear in commercial matters
(v) Working knowledge of Kolkata courts including High Court, NCLT, and District Courts
Responsibility :
(i) Assisting in the drafting and filing of pleadings, applications, and other legal documents.
(ii) Conducting legal research and preparing case briefs.
(iii) Attending court proceedings and assisting in case preparation.
(iv) Represent clients before courts and tribunals in Kolkata
(v) Coordinate with the Delhi office and travel when required
