About the Job :
JSA is hiring an Associate (1 – 3 years PQE) from a top-tier law firm for the Bangalore office, with expertise in FinTech (Finance regulatory) and/or experience advising on general contracts matters.
Eligibility :
(i) 1 – 3 years of post-qualification experience with Tier 1 law firm(s)
(ii) Sincere, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
(iii) Strong legal research and drafting skills
(iv) Expertise in FinTech (Finance regulatory) and/or experience advising on general contracts matters.
(v) Prior experience handling such work and being comfortable coordinating with internal teams and clients.
(vi) Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools
Responsibility :
(i) Conduct in-depth legal research on statutes, case laws, and regulations
(ii) Analyze legal issues and provide strategic recommendations to senior management
(iii) Draft, review, and vet legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and policies
(iv) Assist in litigation management, including preparing briefs and case summaries
(v) Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
(vi) Coordinate with external counsel and stakeholders when required
