About the Job :
LexAnalytico is a Techno-Legal Consulting Firm providing services across Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights, Corporate Laws, and Statutory and Regulatory Compliance.
Eligibility :
(i) LL.B., B.A. LL.B. or B.B.A. LL.B. from a recognised university.
(ii) 1–3 years of relevant experience in a law firm, legal services organisation or in-house legal team.
(iii) Prior experience in commercial contracts and/or IP prosecution will be preferred.
(iv) Familiarity with Indian trademark, design and copyright laws and procedures.
(v) Strong legal drafting, research and analytical skills.
(vi) Strong written and verbal communication skills.
(vii) Ability to independently manage assignments and meet deadlines.
(viii) Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
(ix) Exposure to both transactional and contentious work will be preferred.
(x) Bachelor’s degree.
Responsibility :
(i) Commercial Contracts: Draft, review, mark up, and negotiate diverse commercial agreements. Analyze contracts from legal, commercial, and risk management viewpoints while preparing risk mitigation summaries and executing precise legal research.
(ii) Intellectual Property Prosecution: Conduct thorough trademark and design searches; draft, file, and prosecute applications before the Trade Marks Registry and Designs Wing of the Indian Patent Office. Prepare responses to examination reports, handle oppositions, monitor portfolio deadlines, and assist with copyright registration matters.
(iii) Commercial Litigation Support: Support commercial dispute resolution matters by conducting in-depth legal research, drafting pleadings, applications, legal notices, and case briefs. Prepare chronologies, maintain evidence documentation, and liaise with external counsel to track court filings and hearings.
