About the Job :
Peritum Partners is looking to expand its Real Estate Practice and is seeking a dedicated and motivated Associate to join its team in Chennai. This position involves active exposure to title due diligence, drafting and registration, leasing, leave & licence, and commercial contracts, among others. The selected candidate will be expected to work well in a team.
Eligibility :
(i) 1–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
(ii) Strong interest in and working knowledge of real estate law
(iii) Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
(iv) Ability to read and write Tamil is a must
(v) Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibility :
(i) Conduct title due diligence for real estate transactions.
(ii) Draft and manage registration of property-related documents.
(iii) Handle leasing and leave & licence matters.
(iv) Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, among others.
(v) Collaborate effectively as part of the team.
