About the Job :
Sagar Chandra & Associates is inviting individuals to apply for the position of a Paralegal Trademark Prosecution.
Eligibility :
(i) PQE: 2-6 years
(ii) Prior experience with IP docketing systems.
(iii) Excellent organisational and deadline management skills.
(iv) Strong communication and coordination skills.
(v) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Responsibility :
(i) Filing and prosecution of trademark and copyright applications
(ii) Handling opposition, rectification and related proceedings before the Trade Mark Registry
(iii) Drafting notices, pleadings, written submissions and other litigation-related documentation
(iv) Legal research, portfolio management and compliance with statutory deadlines.
(v) Drafting plaints, written statements, writ petitions, affidavits, appeals and related court pleadings.
(vi) Assisting in commercial agreements, advisory work and dispute resolution matters.
(vii) Appearances before the Trade Marks Registry, Copyright Registry, District Courts and the High Court.
