About the Job :
Stratage Law Partners is expanding its team and is looking to hire an Associate for its Investment Funds practice in Mumbai. The firm is inviting applications from experienced lawyers to join its Investment Funds practice as an Associate.
Eligibility :
(i) Applicants must have 3–4 years of post-qualification experience, with specialisation in investment funds.
(ii) Applicants should have experience in investment fund set-ups and limited partner negotiations.
(iii) Candidates with mixed experience in investment funds and mergers and acquisitions, private equity or venture capital may also be considered, provided investment funds work forms the major part of their practice.
(iv) Applicants should have a strong understanding of the legal and regulatory framework applicable to investment funds.
(v) Applicants should be able to draft and review fund-related documentation and undertake Securities and Exchange Board of India filings.
Responsibility :
(i) Handling investment fund set-ups and limited partner negotiations.
(ii) Drafting and reviewing fund-related documentation.
(iii) Undertaking Securities and Exchange Board of India filings.
