About the Job :
Advocate Mohammad M. Abdi is hiring a Legal Associate for his chambers in Mumbai. The practice primarily involves litigation before the Bombay High Court, National Green Tribunal (NGT), Sessions Courts, Trial Courts, and other judicial and quasi-judicial forums. The selected candidate will gain exposure to matters relating to criminal law, environmental law, consumer law, matrimonial law, intellectual property, commercial disputes, real estate, service law, and rights-based public law litigation.
Eligibility :
(i) Strong drafting and court appearance skills
(ii) Candidate should have the ability to prepare a brief and have strong drafting skills.
(iii) 2–3 years of work experience.
(iv) Candidates who have qualified the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) will be strongly preferred
(v) Proficiency in English, Marathi, and Hindi.
(vi) Strong legal research, drafting, and communication skills.
Responsibility :
(i) Appear before courts and assist in day-to-day court proceedings
(ii) Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, and written submissions
(iii) Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis
(iv) Brief and assist seniors in hearings and trials
(v) Manage case files, documentation, and court filings
(vi) Liaise with clients, court staff, and other advocates
