MoS MEA V. Muraleedharan has once again demanded the resignation of the Kerala CM terming him as ‘shameless and arrogant’ as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan’s ex-principal secretary M Sivasankar in the Gold smuggling probe, In the tweet, he said that arrest exposed the ‘deliberate attempt’ of Kerala CM to shelter and aid the smugglers and anti-national elements. Muraleedharan said the arrest has proved the direct involvement in the gold smuggling case.
V.Muraleedharan had congratulated the investigative agencies for efforts of the Kerala Government and Vijayan for sabotaging the probe of the gold smuggling scam, in his reaction earlier after the arrest. He also added that the former Principal Secretary of Kerala CM was one of the masterminds of the smuggling case and demanded the resignation of Vijayan.
After being taken into custody 10 hours ago, Sivasanker arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday. According to sources report, ED leveled money laundering and Benami charges against Sivasanker. Anticipatory bail has been denied by the Kerala High Court. Sivasanker will be brought in principle session court on Thursday in the Kerala Gold Smuggling case.
