Literal Meaning

The King never dies.

Explanation

The maxim ‘Rex Nunquma Moritur’ means that the king never dies.  The person only is changed, but the sovereign always exist – i.e., the Crown never falls vacant.

‘A’ is a king of the kingdom called ‘Asgard’, he has one son. ‘A’ dies due to illness, however, the sovereign still existed and now was ruled by A’s son.
