Supreme Court on Thursday morning decided to cancel the upcoming AOR (Advocates-on-Record) Exam 2020 due to the spike in number of COVID-19 cases in Delhi. The court decided to postpone it to June 2021.
It was decided after the Supreme Court Bar Association received letter from the Additional Registrar, recruitment Cell informing about the decision.
The letter stated as follows: – “Considering the rising cases of COVID-19 pandemic in Delhi, the competent authority has directed that the Advocates-on-Record Examination 2020 will not be conducted this year and the same may be conducted in the month of June 2021. You are therefore requested to bring the contents of this communication to the notice of all concerned”.
