About the Internship :
T.S. Gopalan & Co. is a Chennai-based law firm focusing on active litigation, offering practical mentorship and exposure to various court and tribunal proceedings.
Eligibility :
(i) Students pursuing their 4th or 5th year of Law.
(ii) Genuine interest in litigation.
(iii) Should be punctual, proactive, and genuinely interested in pursuing a career in litigation.
(iv) Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
(v) Ability to conduct independent legal research.
(vi) Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
(i) Drafting of pleadings, petitions, applications, replies, written statements, and legal notices.
(ii) Conducting detailed legal research and preparing case briefs and opinions.
(iii) Appearing before various courts, tribunals, and quasi-judicial authorities.
(iv) Coordinating with clients, counsels, and other stakeholders for case updates and filings.
(v) Ensuring timely preparation and submission of documents and maintaining case files.
Duration : 4 weeks
