About the Job :
SS Legal Associates is looking for motivated Junior Advocates (Associate position) to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. Assist with legal research, Draft and prepare legal documents, Provide support in attending court matters, Review cases and support the team with documentation and Communicate with clients and stakeholders.
Eligibility :
(i) Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Good command of English (written and verbal).
(iii) LL.B graduates with minimum 6 months’ experience.
(iv) Experience in legal consulting and document preparation.
(v) Preference: Candidates with some experience in real estate, criminal, corporate practice and residing in Mumbai’s Western Line.
Responsibility :
(i) Appear before courts and assist in day-to-day court proceedings
(ii) Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, and written submissions
(iii) Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis
(iv) Brief and assist seniors in hearings and trials
(v) Manage case files, documentation, and court filings
(vi) Liaise with clients, court staff, and other advocates
