About the Job :
Applications are invited for Legal Executive at ERO Power, Pune for the year 2026. The role involves representing the company before various State/Central Commissions, Appellate Tribunals, and other courts of law in India. The ideal candidate will contribute to assignment execution, client relationship management, team mentoring, and business development activities in the Policy & Regulatory segment.
Eligibility :
(i) Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Excellent drafting and oral communication skills, including the ability to plead matters before clients, SERCs, and legal authorities.
(iii) Strong research capabilities and familiarity with policy, tariff, and regulatory matters in the power sector.
(iv) Proficiency in MS Office (Word and PowerPoint).
(v) Good understanding of procedural and substantive laws
(vi) Proficiency in preparing competitive bidding documents and evaluating bids for power procurement.
(vii) Total Experience- Fresher to 1 year
Responsibility :
(i) Handle multiple assignments involving legal issues in a fast-paced consulting environment.
(ii) Conduct extensive research on case laws and integrate findings into ongoing projects.
(iii) Develop an understanding of financial/tariff modeling of Power Utilities and address policy, regulatory, and tariff-related legal issues.
(iv) Scrutinize and review Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and address techno-commercial aspects of power business.
(v) Guide the team in managing and updating crucial databases related to energy policies, regulatory frameworks, tariffs, and court orders (SERC/CERC/APTEL/Supreme Court).
(vi) Stay updated on changes in power sector regulations, new policy notifications, Electricity Act amendments, and key judgments.
(vii) Foster strong client relationships with a focus on thought leadership and team mentoring.
