Actor Rhea Chakraborty wrote to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) seeking to take action against actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s neighbor Dimple Thawani for her “false and misleading statement” that the actor Sushant Singh Rajput dropped Rhea Chakraborty at her place on 13th June that is a day before his death.
The letter was addressed to the Superintendent of Police, Nupur Prasad stating that:
The neighbour made “patently false and bogus allegations against me knowing them to be false, to mislead the investigation in the above case.”
Further Rhea Chakraborty contended that these statements attract sections 203 and 211 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, and are serious offences. And the allegations were made on the Republic TV without any basis.
