Why Government Is Not Manufacturing The Covid-19 Vaccine? : Allahabad HC

The Hon’ble Division Bench of Hon’ble Allahabad high court consisting of Hon’ble Justice Siddhartha Varma and Hon’ble Justice Ajit Kumar raised the questions on the act of government for not manufacturing the COVID-19 vaccine itself. The country is facing a shortage of COVID vaccine and hence it is not available to the common people for the vaccination. The Hon’ble bench goes on to say that it is not understandable as to why a welfare state like India is not trying to manufacture the COVID vaccine itself in a large quantity when it is required to the citizen.

The Hon’ble court further suggested that medical companies which is working well and are quite capable but do not have their vaccine may ask for the procedure of manufacturing the vaccine from any of the vaccine manufacturers around the world and may start producing their vaccine.

The Hon’ble court further stated that this is one of the ways by which indigenous medicine manufacturers may help the country to avert the havoc in the form of COVID-19.
