Delhi HC extends restrictive hearing till Jan 15, notifies revised roster for physical hearings

Delhi HC to form a special tribunal to monitor the latest motor accident claims scheme

The Delhi High Court extends the restrictive hearing till November 15 in the light of growing cases of COVID-19 in the national capital.

Each Bench of the court across the three jurisdictions – civil, criminal, and original – periodically sit for physical hearings while also taking up matters through the video conferencing as per the current mode of functioning.

All the Division Benches will sit for physical hearings four times till January 15, except the Division Benches headed by the Chief Justice and Justice Vipin Sanghi, which will sit for physical hearings on three days during this period, as per the new roster.

All the single benches in the Civil Jurisdiction will sit for physical hearings four times during this period except the Single Bench of Justice Jayant Nath which will sit for three days.

All the Single Benches in Criminal Jurisdiction will sit for physical hearings four times during the given period.
